Rick in the Bakery just made the most jaw-dropping cake for my 9-year-old granddaughter's birthday party. I had purchased a "cake topper kit" of woodland critters, mushrooms and a little greenery on Amazon, and then he did the magic to bring it all together. I can't rave enough about his skills. He knew exactly what he was doing! Everyone asked where I got this cake. My granddaughter was delighted with her "fairy enchanted forest" cake. This is the third cake I've purchased at this Homeland bakery for her birthdays, and each time I'm blown away by their execution. It's also refreshing to have a real human, in person, local, who cares about helping you.

I've always liked Homeland and have used their pharmacy for many years, I believe a little over ten years. I was so sad when the homeland on 104th and Penn closed but the pharmacy staff transferred to the Homeland on W. Robinson so luckily I got to keep two of the best pharmacist in the world. Jo Retta the pharmacy manager and Tresa pharmacist are so amazing and will Bend over backwards to help you. They are vital members of my healthcare team and have the feel of a independent pharmacy even inside a chain of stores. I do a lot of my shopping at homeland and it is my pharmacy and I have transferred all my kids prescriptions there too. Homeland overall deserves 4/5 stars but the pharmacy is definitely worth 5/5 stars!!!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Decor & Style: 3/5 Clean, very friendly service, fast, not crowded! Deli tastes great as well for quick lunches! My only complaint is that the prices are higher than Walmart/Target so I only come here when I need a quick deli snack.

Surprisingly good grocery store in a building that's been several grocery stores since I was a young boy growing up in Norman. It has the second best cheese counter in Norman (behind Forward Foods on Main). I consider this a stronger cheese counter than Sprouts. It's larger than Crest, and has options you can't find at the other large grocery stores in town. Additionally, they make their own cheese spreads, which are very good. Once I discovered this place every time I make mac n cheese (which is fairly frequent) I get my cheese from here. In addition to a great cheese counter, they have something I've not found in Norman stores: dry aged beef, aged on premises. You can get dry aged beef at a steakhouse, but I've not found a place close to home that sells it to the public. The availability isn't guaranteed, but that's understandable given that they have to age the beef a certain number of days. So, you may not want to plan your evening around it without checking first to make sure Homeland has some dry aged steaks available. The rest of the store is typical, but I have found it very clean and the prices commensurate with other stores nearby. This is an above average grocery store, so don't let the older exterior fool you. It's worth a stop.

This is a great grocery store. It's my favorite Homeland in town and the one I tend to frequent. I'll go there just to avoid the crowds. The selection here is great and I've found them to be very receptive to suggestions and requests for them to carry new items. It's one of the few places in town I can go to find British brands that I enjoy. Helpful staff as well. Their cheese selection is the best of any grocery store (not counting the specialty stores) in town.

I love grocery shopping. Well, I love grocery shopping at night when barely anyone is there. But I love stocking up on favorites and finding new stuff to jazz up eating at home. Ever since Homeland added their gourmet food section, they have become one of my top stops, especially the one on Robinson and 24th. Not only do they have a different variety of products than places like Target (including allergen-free options!), but they are usually clean and organized, and seem to be good about getting expired items off the shelves (which I can't say for all Norman Homelands). But back to the gourmet food section (which you will find in front of the dessert & deli counters, near the produce); they have cheeses and snacks from all over the world, fancy crackers, and meats like prosciutto and mortadella. This is perfect, if like me, you grab some goodies and a bottle of wine and call it dinner. I highly recommend buying the Dalmatia fig spread and Suan's hot pepper relish to sophisticate your spread. And don't miss the snack basket with nibbles of various cheeses, perfect for when you want to try a cheese but don't want to commit to a bigger chunk. Beyond the gourmet counter, Homeland's produce is usually in good shape. At the bakery, I like the bread and cannoli (with that extra hint of cinnamon). The deli counter is great if you need a side dish, my favorites being the loaded red potato salad and the tortellini salad. There are soup, salad, and olive bars. The meat counter always has flavorful cuts ready. Their floral station has saved me in a pinch on one more than one occasion and never disappointed. I know there are cheaper supermarkets and some of their locations give Homeland a bad name, but give this one a try for gourmet and beyond. They know how to do it right!
